A Perfect Storm (Men Who Walk The Edge of Honor #4) - Lori Foster

He never saw her coming...

Spencer Lark already knows too many secrets about Arizona Storm, including the nightmare she survived and her resulting trust issues. But in order to expose a smuggling ring—and continue avenging his own tragic past—the bounty hunter reluctantly agrees to make Arizona a decoy. Yet nothing has equipped him for her hypnotic blend of fragility and bravery, or for the protective instincts she stirs in him.

Arizona wants to reclaim her life, which means acting as bait to lure the enemy into a trap. Sure it's dangerous, especially with a partner as distractingly appealing as Spencer. But as their plan—and their chemistry—shifts into high gear, Arizona may discover there's an even greater risk in surrendering her heart to a hero...

Well, well, well, I'd like to start of with this:

I totally love the whole idea and all things around Spencer and Arizona. Give it to Lori Foster to make just tiny things really hot and sweet. Already while reading at page ninety Spencer got me fully under his spell.
He is different than the other three, but I can't say I like him any less. The book is healing and yet very steamy. I can't say if I liked that book even more than the others. With this series there is seriously no way I could pick out a favorite, but Spencer surely makes it hard.

Arizona's life certainly never was easy, never once having felt as if she truly belonged somewhere. And then she slowly but steadily gives her heart away after thinking she might feel something for Jackson - only to realize that guy is still hung up on someone else. And that is just part of her complex world. Seriously, Arizona is the woman I liked most from the series even though all of them had their own appeal.

No matter where I was or how late or early it was, I needed to read just one more page... And now finished the last three hundred in one sitting only. As always, I wish I could write a longer review, but in all honesty, why make a million words when a few are enough? And here are my few:

Thank you, Lori Forster. Thank you. I'm off to read your next series now.

Yours truly,
Julie
