Losing Hope - Colleen Hoover does it again

Have I mentioned lately that Colleen Hoover is a genius? All that have read books by her won't be surprised, but if you have yet to read one of her books, I would suggest starting rather sooner than later!!!!!

Synopsis: Still haunted by the little girl he let walk away, Holder has spent his entire life searching for her in an attempt to finally rid himself of the crushing guilt he has felt for years. But he could not have anticipated that the moment they reconnect, even greater remorse would overwhelm him…

Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope, bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs.

“But I’ve learned over the past year what it really means to be able to

miss someone. In order to miss someone, that means you were privileged enough to have
them in your life to begin with.”
Losing Hope - Colleen Hoover

Oh my....I have not mentioned it enough, but I love books from male POVs, and this one was no different. I have fallen in love with “Hopeless” beginning of this year, and already there I fell in love with the amazingness that is Dean Holder. Reading this heart-wrenching story from his POV just made this whole story so much more complete.

“I wonder if it's possible for people to fall in love with a person one characteristic at a time, or if you fall for the entire person at once.”
Losing Hope - Colleen Hoover

I loved it! I loved everything about it, no doubt. I loved how he wrote to Les, despite everything, how honest and raw his descriptions are, his feelings, and with him I felt EVERYTHING!!! And you will feel it too.

The story itself is just as beautiful from Holder's POV than it was from Sky's. If you haven't read the story, you should, because this story will make you cry lots, laugh, but most of all it will seriously break you heart, because in the end, nothing is what it seems. And doesn't that just suck.

“You did everything you could, but sometimes all the love in the world from mothers and brothers isn't enough to help pull someone out of their nightmare. We just need to accept that things are what they are, and all the guilt and regret in the world can't change that.”
Losing Hope - Colleen Hoover

Holder has been through so much, and we get to witness how he moves on from losing the two people that he loved most in the world. We see what it did to him, how he tried to take every day as it comes to make it through somehow and how sometimes, the smallest thing can make you appreciate life anew . Holder and Sky show us how people heal from the wounds from the past and present alike, how you can always move forward, no matter if you know what's around the next corner or not.

“My attention is constantly homed in on her like I'm a compass and she's my North.”
Losing Hope - Colleen Hoover

There are no words to describe what reading this book puts you through

Colleen Hoover has a style of writing that sucks you in the first moment you open the book. You don't wanna put it down again until you get to the end of it and you get completely lost in the story. I love that, I love the magic of a book that makes you forget where you are, what you were supposed to be doing and that there might be somewhere you have to be. All that matters at this moment is that you finish this book.

And I did.
