Revealing Kia - A not at all lost girl

Image
Okay, so I got this book for an honest review and I'm so super glad I did! I read book one and already loved it like nothing else... And let me tell you... No, let's start with what the book is about... The events of Claudia’s party were nothing more than a distant memory as far as Kia was concerned. She was ready to resume her life as though that night had never happened. But it’s a slippery slope keeping a secret and Kia’s about to learn just how hard when she’s faced with the truth and the consequences of her decision.  Adam Chaves was no stranger to girls wanting him. He was no stranger to breaking hearts, although never intentionally. What he didn’t understand was how Kia could undress him, touch him, burn him with her eyes and still keep him at arm’s length when it was evident how much it cost her. But what Kia didn’t realize was that he had never given up on anything in his life and he wasn’t about to start now. He would have his girl even if it meant he had to

Losing Hope - Colleen Hoover does it again

Have I mentioned lately that Colleen Hoover is a genius? All that have read books by her won't be surprised, but if you have yet to read one of her books, I would suggest starting rather sooner than later!!!!! Synopsis: Still haunted by the little girl he let walk away, Holder has spent his entire life searching for her in an attempt to finally rid himself of the crushing guilt he has felt for years. But he could not have anticipated that the moment they reconnect, even greater remorse would overwhelm him… Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope , bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs. “But I’ve learned over the past year what it really means to be able to miss someone. In order to miss someone, that means you were privileged enough to have them in y

Jenny Pox - and this is an honest review

I really had high hopes for this book. It sounded great from the synopsis. It turned out I was to be proved wrong. Or at least in my mind. I know lots of people liked it, but overall, this book really wasn't for me! And I'll tell you why! Synopsis:  Eighteen-year-old Jenny Morton has a horrific secret: her touch spreads a deadly supernatural plague, the "Jenny pox." She lives by a single rule: Never touch anyone. A lifetime of avoiding any physical contact with others has made her isolated and painfully lonely in her small rural town. Then she meets the one boy she can touch. Jenny feels herself falling for Seth...but if she's going to be with him, Jenny must learn to use the deadly pox inside her to confront his ruthless and manipulative girlfriend Ashleigh, who secretly wields the most dangerous power of all. Oh my, where to start here. Apart from the writing style, that took a lot of getting used to and I still didn't really like it, the

Okay, here's the synopsis... (Yeah, I did get the book for a review from the author and of course I will do an HONEST review... is there any other way?) October 31, 1983, seventeen year old Johnny Baits vanishes without a trace, leaving the slumbering town of Chipawaha Creek, British Columbia reeling with his mysterious disappearance. Twenty-nine years later, The French family moves into his home, never realizing they're not alone in the house.  For seventeen year old Roseanna French moving to a strange new town is a problem she can handle. But even she's not prepared for the evil that has been sitting dormant for years... waiting. When seemingly harmless noises and creeping shadows at night leads to the murder of the people closest to her, Ana has to find a way to stop the evil before it can consume her completely and she can no longer wash the blood from her hands. Rafael Ramirez is battling his own demons. Unlike Ana's, his has been haunting him for years. B
